SPRING 2024 BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL REGISTRATION OPEN!

Greetings Central Vermont families--

Central Vermont Little league (CVTLL) volunteers are hard at work preparing for the 2024 baseball and softball seasons. We have much to do to get ready for the season: create player rosters and coaching staffs, order uniforms, schedule games, etc.!  If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at [email protected]. Please visit our website for information about our ProgramsSafety PlanCoach Resources, and Umpiring

**New for 2024** CVTLL is offering winter clinics for league ages 8 to 12. Your registration for the 2024 season includes winter clinics at Norwich University Jacob Shapiro Fieldhouse. The clinics are scheduled for Sunday, February 4th and Sunday, February 18th at 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  Volunteers are needed! Please look for the winter clinic RSVP link in the registration confirmation email.

A few important notes:

Registration Documents

  • Medical Release information will NOT be collected at registration. You will receive a link to a form that will need to be completed, signed, and returned to the coach before your player will be able to participate in practices or games.

  • School enrollment and proof of residency documents are NOT required at the time of registration. You can skip this step. A CVTLL volunteer will reach out when/if this is needed for your players.

Credit card payments online are preferred, but checks made payable to Central VT Little League will be accepted.  Orders are refundable subject to the CVTLL Refund Policy. The deadline for early-bird pricing and on-time registration is March 3rd to make sure that volunteers and uniforms are available to all registered players. Registration after March 3rd may result in increased registration fees, placement on any roster with space available, and delayed uniform delivery.

Registration Fee Assistance

CVTLL is committed to making baseball and softball available to all interested players regardless of the ability to pay. We actively fundraise to keep costs low and provide financial assistance to help with registration fees.

T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant

The T-Mobile Little League Call Up Grant program offers a simple-to-use online application and is available to families in need with proof the child is currently receiving Medicaid benefits, SNAP or WIC, so long as funding is available.

Season Dates

We are finalizing season dates. Expect games to begin around May 3rd and continue through June 16th.

Practice dates and times will be announced after teams are formed.

Please use the League website as a resource for information about our programs, field locations, and other general League information.

More information will be available through the website after player and volunteer registration has been confirmed, and rosters have been set.

Please consider signing up as a volunteer when you register your player. CVTLL has implemented an online volunteer background check process. After signing up to volunteer users will receive a Background Questionnaire Notification email which contains a link to complete the background check through JD Palatine.

You are receiving this email because you registered for Little League on behalf of a player, or as a volunteer, last season. If you do not wish to receive email communication in the future, please see the link in the footer of this email.

Also, if you know of others who would be interested in this information, please forward it along.

On behalf of the Central Vermont Little League Board of Directors, thank you for supporting youth baseball and softball, and we're looking forward to a great 2024 season!

Sincerely,

The Central Vermont Little League Board of Directors
